If I have to make more I think I will call the plumber again! I am going to make more for my chicks, I hate having to feed everyday! The taller the better!

That is a good idea too! I put up poultry netting today so let me see how that goes before I take on another project of cutting all those lids.

How are these feeders working out for you several years down the line? Or did you go to a different system?

They are working fine! We still use them in some smaller pens I have with just 1-3 grown birds or 5-6 juvies. Most of my pens have more birds than that and we have changed over to a bigger feeder that will last for a week or more depending on how many in a pen. We LOVE the new ones. I need to put a thread up. Got the idea from a guy in Australia.

I use 2 inch pipe cat litter bucket and put 3 elbows 1 on each side and the front. you could put one on the back if you have it set up where that will work. I keep mine up against a wall so just 3 works for me.

Or maybe use a hot glue gun and run a bead. It would seem safer (less toxic) if it was pecked off.

I KNOW the post is old and I'm sure you figured something out, but there are PLENTY of people still looking back at old post finding solutions to their problems.

GREAT JOB!!
