I am just getting day old pullets on fri--so I still have some time before I need to worry about nesting boxes--but will you let me know how well the dishpans work-they sound like a wonderful idea...? Thanks

You & your mom really did alot. Hug your mom for me too! She sounds so much like my mom. Thank heaven for wonderful mothers. Sorry to hear she has to head home. At least you both had a great time together, despite the weather. That wind was cold! And fierce.
Your coop is coming along wonderfully. I love it. You will absolutely love sitting on your deck looking out at the chickens grazing in the summer sun as you sip your morning coffee.
I really like your idea about using a tv stand for the nest boxes, and the dishpans.
