My 15 week old black australorp pullet has a black comb. Should I be concerned?

I’ve got a 15 week old black australorp pullet we call Onyx. She got her name from the fact that for as long as we’ve had her she’s been solid black. From a few days old to now. No white at all even as a little baby chick. Now that she’s starting to reach the age where she will start laying eggs her comb & waddles have started to develop. However, I’ve noticed that her comb is black. At least part of it is. Thing is is that she seems very healthy & happy. She’s always been super black all over. Before her comb started to come up it was solid black on the top of her head. She also doesn’t have as much iridescence in her feathers as her sisters.
I’m hoping that the black comb is just her unique quirk & not a health concern. Please help.

It will get more red coloration as she gets closer to laying and I don't think it's anything to be concerned about. Judging from her comb and wattles, she likely still has at least a few weeks to go before she starts laying. The age at which pullets lay can vary significantly among individuals, even within the same breed and flock.

Thank you! She’s my second in command hen. She also tends to keep my rooster in line when he’s being a bit of a feed hog. She pecks him in his waddles. 🤣

Not sure Aussies have black skin....and think they have a white patch on breast as chicks??
What color are her legs?
Where did you get this bird?

She was almost solid black even as a chick. Barely any white. Her beak was solid black as well. Black skin above her beak. Waddles where black as well but lately they have begun to change to red. Solid black legs. Her skin isn’t black. I’ve checked. Normal skin tone under wings. We got her with her 3 sisters at Wilco farm store near my house. It’s because she was so black we called her Onyx.

Cute chick! Her black comb is fine, just late maturing. We have Black Jersey Giants and one female had a very tiny and all black comb even at 4 months. She didn’t lay until around 6 or 7 months - and her comb did get red.

Thank you. That makes me feel so much better.
