my 16 week old rooster wont leave my on 16 week old hen alone

My other 16 week old hen just died recently and now my rooster wont leav the other one alone! Will she be alright until I can get another hen? Or should I purchase a chicken saddle for her?

if she's the only one and she's getting rode hard I would get the saddle. he should be wearing her out, poor thing. it'll help at least until you can get him another lady to compete for his 'attention'

A rooster can "service" over a dozen hens. Your ratio is quite, well...... out of balance for a young, over sexed roo.
