So button quail in the wild mark the nest and area they claim, it seems true if i give them a safe place or semi natural area they keep rearranging the rocks and things i put in there, so i decided to start taking pics of what they do before i clean up and mess up the rocks to make them re make it poor buttons

Love it, so cute , btw this is purple heart (egg name due to the fact my fiancée used her purple washable non taxic pen to put a mark/dot on it towards the bottom and it formed with one of its weird dots and made a heart) she he egg , is due on the 25th which is in 4 days, it was a last minute decision to leave it in when i took the other 3 out while they were still under a week old(tested if they were alive and if they would develop) , my fiancée got me by saying( you could hand raise it like snow) , was my emotions that followed and got me to keep it inside,

But thats not all !!!!!
The other 3, i felt so bad i gave them a fighting chance since Vladimir and savi seemed to want to nest a bit, i put the three inside there dust box and took there stones and made a sand nest then i put a couple small boxes under that box in an attempt to make them warm enough under the heat lamp thats ontop the cage, and they sit on them some times, (did not think it would work cuz the reader wasnt sure some times) annnnnd well its been days and such and if it can keep alive its due the 24th (though if it hatches i think it will be late due to some coldness some times) i candled yesterday and 1 of them is alive and moved .... Vladimir is gonna freak out if it hatches or gets to the last 3 days of peep peep talk to the parents through the egg thing !!!!!, how strong is this blood line !!!!! ,
Ps i promise some good pics today i made sure to have time later so ill get a pic of vladimir savi alucard and shana, .... mina sadly is probably dead since my nephew who wasn't supposed to be here left the pen zipper open a bit and the front door ... anubis is trained enough not to run out the house (good coturnix boy) the buttons though .... could not fine the only one who got out mina, (who happend to be the best flyer !!!! Very accurate!)

Pps last two pics are of shana's egg who laid her 2nd eggg yesterday which i tossed in just to check if its can get a spider vein
