These birds of mine have some really interesting genes in them. You get everything from standard types to some really interesting ones.

Of my four birds, I think I like Lura the best.

When u end up wearing a full sweat pants and shirt combo at 6am just to please the hand taming baby cuz it likes the sweater pouch

So the two cage eggs didn't make it but i candled the 4 she laid before she stopped laying and went broody and 2 are alive the 3rd either stopped or just recently started getting sat on the 4the is a healthy yolk thats looks like its darkening so possibly spider in a day or so , i thought she wasn't sitting on them all ! She was favoring the close to hatch ones and getting used to being broody so i guess each of the 4 eggs are at diff hatch rates, the two that didn't make it if u didn't read it yet i incubated then half way to test development and fertility but didn't want so many extra right now but felt
bad to let em die , so i let the mom have them back and she semi sat while still laying plus heat lamp kept em alive, then she actually went broody more, so i gave them a (slim) chance, just wanted to update

Took out Vladimir's last two eggs yesterday since they got a blood ring and died, she went looking for them when she was wide awake later and ended up laying her first egg in days some time last night inside the wheat grass plant, i guess she thinks its hidden now XD, oh and i have named the baby weather male or female its name is Hecate , (cant fix font now) but pronounced heck ca tee (miss hard brooms nickname from the worst witch tv show on netflix my fiancée loves), they are getting there feather tube's so far looks black&white but who knows what pattern
