My 1st hatch setting eggs 3/6

Lock down starts tomorrow, 7 eggs ... let's see what happens

two pipps Saturday night at 8pm... Sunday morning one is pushing out of the shell.
So far I'm happy with my 1st hatch attempt... will post pictures tonight.

So far two have hatch out are in the brooder, the first one that pipped never hatched out

so probably died in the egg..been almost 36 hours now. 5 more eggs nothing yet ... !!!

Will wait another couple days.

Well I broke open the 36 hour pipped egg, chick was developed, but died in the egg, not sure why, I'll do some research..
anyone every see this in their hatches, and have you determined what maybe the cause..? temp/humdity issues I expect.

Here's a picture of my 1st two hatch lings ... one hatched from the greenish blue egg, the other from a light brown egg.
The chick with the leg feathers came from the greenish blue egg, which was the smallest egg of the batch.

I'm thinking mixed breed chicks, what do you think they'll be looking like grown up ?

This is only my second hatch so I really don't have the answers to your questions. Sorry to hear about the little guy that didn't make it. However your babies are adorable

I still only have 1 out but now have 7 others that have pipped!

Pulling the remaining 4 eggs out of the incubator tomorrow ... will be roughly day 25, will open the eggs up to see why these did not hatch.
Looks like 2 chicks from 7 eggs for this my initial hatch. Definitely a learning experience.

Final count of the 4 eggs remaining
1 egg was undeveloped
3 eggs had a chick inside ... lots of fluid, so I'm thinking they might have drowned in the egg.
