My $2 feeder

I was looking at getting a feeder but they were so expencive. I decided to make my own. I got a popcorn tin at goodwill and a serving tray as well for 95 cents each. I cut slots around the bottom of the tin and drilled a hole in the bottom of it and the bottom of the tray then inserted a bolt. It holds about 10 pounds of feed

I'm sure the chickens will enjoy eating with their adorable snowmen. It's a great idea -- very creative reuse.

I had been thinking about making this for a while but hadn't gotten to any goodwills yet. The first one I went to had exactly what I needed.. Why pay $13 for a ugly plastic thing when this can be had for $2? It is super easy to fill too, just take the lid off

I would go with 5 gallons bucket. It' won't rust and much larger size. You can get free from many bakeries, groceries, etc..

Great idea! One of those smack-yourself-in-the-forehead moments.. why didn't I think of that! We are all about using repurposed things around here!
