My 2 room brood box

I designed this 2 room brooder box using 2 clear totes. I cut holes in one side of each tote, covered the sharp edges with duct tape, lined up the 2 holes, and duct taped the 2 holes together. My chick's love it, they get to explore and have fun.

Good set up for new chicks, it looks like you have about 7. Your gonna need a bigger brooder soon or move them to your coop.

Here in Oregon it's still chilly at night, so I will be moving them to my newly finished chicken coop once they are fully feathered. I figure about 2 to 3 more weeks. Currently the 7 chick's in my new brooder box have about 12 to 15 Sq ft of space to move around. I also have 4 other chick's that are 1 week older in a separate brooder box.
