This is my recently built coop. The coop is 8'x6' with 4' high walls and center 6'. It sits on 2' legs which give the chickens a covered 6x8 run space. I added a 6 stall external nesting box. The run is 10'x12' and is covered in poultry wire on the sides and top. I am also burying 1' of poultry wire around the perimeter and covering it in large rock to prevent predators from digging in. I used hardwood pallets to cover the walls and to build the legs. I also added vent windows on the back and side to keep it cooler in the hot Texas summers.
