Yes, I might try removing one heat plate during the day to give them more room. I can also move half the babies to a new brooder if they get too crowded.
They’re doing great this morning!

They have discovered the love of sitting on top of the heat plate.

#25, the last duckling to hatch, is the only one I’m worried about. It’s just a little behind the others but it is eating and drinking so I’m hoping it will be ok. I’m adding molasses to the water and giving scrambled eggs for extra calories. I ordered poultry cell but unfortunately I can’t get it till Monday

Well the new owner wants to wait until they are 2 weeks old to get them, which means I will be even more attached!!!! Oh nooooo!!! I have decided to keep 6 and let her have 14
