My 2nd Duck Hatch!

Someone who hatches can advise. Won't having so many in the bator hatched cause humidity problems? I have no idea my Muscovy are my incubators.
Yeah, last time my last few that hatched were sticky from high humidity so it’s probably better for me to remove the hatches ones. I’ll probably check them in the night to make sure they’re coping with life outside the incubator

If your brooder is warm and cozy they should do fine.

I removed 6 ducklings. I was going to put them in the kiddie pool brooder I had set up but I decided a smaller box was better while they’re figuring out where the heat plate is and how to use it. They’re snuggled under there right now and aren’t crying so I think they’re warm enough but I’m monitoring in case I need to adjust heat plate height

@My15Ducks Any update? Everybody is out? :)

On my end, it's rocking, but nobody out yet (we're day 28, today). I have 3 out of 5 that have pipped, and 2 that are rocking, but nothin external yet. I am expecting some action today, well... hoping, at least!
Hope you get some babies today!

3 still haven’t hatched, but they’re alive.

Beautiful colors. I'd remove the towel with strings or cut them off its amazing what the ducklings might try and eat and strings are not something they should.

I hope by now they are all out and having a blast seeing the world for the first time.
I actually only used the towel in the box when I carried them downstairs from the incubator to the brooder:)
They are little rascals!
