Here’s my 3 new babies! Mama’s a Japanese Bantam!

I'm sorry. But they don't look like Japanese bantam anymore. They don't look like momma. But they're cute. I had a rooster Japanese bantam before. I never got to incubate his eggs. So congratulations. Mostly white feathers. I understand that black feathers are dominant. Are you asking us who the daddy is. The last picture it looks like a barred rock. Are they half standard size? Just curious. Are they half black Cochin or feather foot bantams are mostly like that.

Mixes will always keep you guessing. I have an EE (daddy) and an asian black (mommy) it looks just like daddy. Vent sexed and think it is a girl but wing shape and color says Cockrell. Comb says girl, walks like a girl. Just have to see if it lays an egg or not. Lol!!

I wasn’t really asking because answers are hard to come by with mixes. I have 4 potential rooster dads... 2 of them are mixes so we’re playing wait and see. They all have mom’s body shape and two of them are flying like crazy. I think 1 might be a rooster. They’re 5 weeks today!

I wasn’t really asking because answers are hard to come by with mixes. I have 4 potential rooster dads... 2 of them are mixes so we’re playing wait and see. They all have mom’s body shape and two of them are flying like crazy. I think 1 might be a rooster. They’re 5 weeks today!

My flock is 4 weeks old today too. I don't have bantams now. Wish I did.
