my 3 malllard duck hatched this morning

I have been watching them try to hatch for to days and finally they are here....I am so excited ... this was her 3rd attempt to hatch eggs since Jan. ...

the babies are so adorable...I tried to get pics but momma won't let me... which is ok by me... I am glad she is being a good momma... I put their dog house in a pen so they will be protected and away from the other ducks and chickens...

once she's got the babies out and about, you have to get pics, I demand it!

are they pure mallard, or mixes??

I've got 2 mallards brooding, and a runner brooding

the runner is sitting on 5 mallard eggs.

Tal, the mallard is sitting on 7, or 8 of her own eggs, and her sister Mouse is sitting on 4 of sage's (blue swed) eggs, and one of her own.

Akai(the runner) has been sitting for about 2ish weeks now I think, and Mouse, about a week and a half, Tal for about 3 days LOL

I am really hoping for some momma raised fuzzy babies soon, both Akai and Mouses eggs all look good when I candle so far.

Im not sure if they a pure mallards... I have 2 mallard drakes and 1 pekin drake... they have a little yellow on their bills... I haven't got a real good look at them... every now and then I see one peeking out from under momma looking around at the world...

Had to change water bowl... one baby duck was siting in it
