i needed another coop for my broody. so i built this 4x4x10 tractor using mostly scrap wood i found around my place. the only expense i had was the 2x3 framing and the 10' 2x6's i used as the base, the door hardware and some deck screws, and 2 new tires from tsc. i had to redesign the wheel placement and hitch since these pics, as it was a bit too much for my lawn mower to tow, i now rigged up a rope and lift the coop side w/ the 3pt hitch on my larger tractor and the wheels are on the run side which are removable when it is in a set place. i should have built it using 2x4 's for the base as its rather heavy. the runs is made w/ the bad stuff chicken wire i should have used hardware cloth but i was trying to keep the budget down and i already had this wire, the top is removable to provide access for treats and food/water it held down by eye bolts into the wood and very tight bungy cords the shorter heavy dutythick rubber black ones. it has the 1 small window and i put in some venting on the ends and along the eaves, but i may add another window that will open and have a hardware cloth screen for extra air flow. it has 1 nest box and some roosts as well. it reminded me of the homemade bustops people build at the end of their long driveways hence the name busstop coop.

That's very very neat tractor, I think I am going to build something similar to yours.
