My 5 week old austrolorp has no feathers on her neck. When she stretches her neck out you can see that it is totally bare. Is this normal?

A slow feathering neck can indicate a roo.... usually hens feather in neck and chest more quickly. For example this is a six - seven week old pullet...

I have five week old males with far fewer neck and chest feathers. But they're half asleep and would kill me if I wanted pics now LOL

OH NO! I had seven chicks yesterday. My cat killed one that I was positive was a hen. I have one that I'm positive is a rooster. I have one that I'm 50/50 on it being a rooster and now maybe ANOTHER?!
