My 6 month old ee's are laying an egg every single day. Is this normal?

Ok so I only have 4 EE girls and they were a bit delayed in laying because they were stressed in a coop with my other layers who were picking on them. So I didn't see an egg except maybe one on the floor of the coop occasionally. They are just at 6 months old now and since I moved them to the tophat/bantam coop they have been happy as can be. Also they started laying but I'm getting 4 green eggs a day. This just can't be right. :/

I had a small break in laying because temps stayed at 105 for like 2 to 3 weeks and everyone slowed down. But these are the only EE's I have so I know they a their eggs. Also I have one girl in a seperate run with her own nest box and today there were 2 eggs in with her.

Am I losing my mind here or can a new layer lay 2 eggs a day or even 1 a day?? I always went by the math that it takes a day and a half to lay an egg and a half lmao. That's my southern father's teachings there lol.

Also in my other coop I have 40 layers and couldn't tell u who was laying and who I wasn't I just don't keep track but these girls are pretty hard to confuse being their eggs are green lol

Two of my EE's lay blue eggs and I got two every day once they started laying. They're over a year old now and just recently there might be one day a week with only 1 blue egg. They can be really good layers.

I just thought I had some crazy layers there lol. I sure hope it doesn't cause a problem in the long run. Seems like a lot for the poor girls :/

I'm so sorry - I didn't catch the part about 2 eggs with one chicken. ????? Now THAT is unusual, although it's not unheard of in breeds like leghorns, etc. Hmmm?

Well it only happened this last week. I wonder if they didn't get messed up because we had 100 degree heat for weeks with no break. I wonder if their systems got messed up lol.

It's possible! I think it messed all of our systems up!
