My 7 1/2wk Black Polish has me seeing Red

I would say yes that's a roo, all my polish have very slight wattles if they are roos by about 8/9 weeks.

We heard something this morning, it could have been an attempt at crowing. Very strange, but occurred three different times a few minutes or so apart. The early morning sun had risen, and while we were enjoying a cup of coffee on the deck around 6:50am , we heard some sort of a chortled squawk. The other three chickens look like pullets. I didn't see which one made the noise.

Do you have a picture of what your pullets look like at that age. Are their bodies fatter or rounder? This one is pretty lean compared to my other three.
