Yes I gave her away..there was no market for these Amercuana bantams and I could not ship where they were resided at. That included my white, a blue and this one along with their offsprings and white rooster...all given away. They were already three years old.

However I got two of the blues out of the cross from Snow Owl and Blue Iris...I just lost one last week for some unknown reason at all and remained one has more gold in her neck feathers. I would not say if she is blue wheaton....

Yeah I definitely love this color! I'm not suprised it's an easter egger. I'm tempted to go get another one...I'm afraid the leghorn is going to give her bad habits.
I really want her to stay friendly.

If I move to the country I might try breeding the real thing. Does anyone know if the breeders listed on Ameraucana.org are legit? Do they have to be checked out to be on the breeder list? There is one listed that is about an hour away from me in Indiana.

I emailed one breeder who is nearby, but it looks like he only sells the bantams....Wheaten color (I love this color). Is there a market for bantams and are they as friendly as the standards? I have heard the bantams were mean.
