My 9 mth old roosters face has gone much paler

Hello I have a 9 month old rooster who up till last week had a red face. In the last week his face has gone much paler and is almost white. In all other ways he is the same - his behaviour has not changed at all and he seems healthy and normal.
Is it a thing that young roosters go through at certain times of year or is it something I should be worried about. Thank you
