Love the brooder!
I use a truck tool box to store my feed and supplies, never thought about using it as a brooder!

I agree! They crack me up! The are sound asleep in the food bowls too. I have a regular feeder, but I put a couple bowls in there as well since we have so many babies! But, they like to sleep in the bowls. Ha ha!

I feel your pain! I did the exact same thing. I bought some every week at the feed store for the last 3 weeks, and tuesday I go pick up the ones I ordered. I'll have a grand total of 14!

I wasnt sure what everyone would think of our brooder, ha ha. I thought we had some large totes in the garage, but we have our house on the market and apparently took the empty totes to the storage. OOPS. I was SCRAMBLING when we got home with the first 6 chicks, and then that was sitting there, and I thought- PERFECT!

I dunno, the ones you describe sound like maybe there just might be something that you dont yet have, that was my theory. HA HA!

Yep, DH is working on building me a coop this week and weekend. I'm getting a 16 X 12 with door and windows!! How jealous will everyone be?? haha

And yes, I am always looking for ones I "don't have yet". All of my chickens are different except for 2 black australorps and 2 golden lakenvelders (one roo one pullet though).
