Well the chicks are here a day early! I got a call at 7:00am from the post office and drove the 20 min to pick them up and get them home and situated before I had to be back in town to work at 8:30am. We were planning on getting everything situated for them today so of course we weren't ready this morning and ryan is hurrying to get all the heat lamps set up for the little fluffy butts while I'm at work.
Boys have purple spots on their heads. There are 50 buff orpington females and 5 males, and 50 rhode island red females and 5 males. There's one rhode island red female with a cross beak and one buff female with a cross beak. One buff female looks to have some of her intestines on the outside and they dried up, it was a loop and her leg was through it. The only thing I could do was cut it to get her leg free, it was dried up anyways but I hope she makes it.
Here's a few pictures I took this morning.
OH. MY. GOSH. THE CUTENESS OF IT ALL.
