I would enter the contest but I didn't take any pics when I was building it. I sould have but I threw it together so quick I didn't even think about it.

The feeder is smaller than the Rooster I got today he can only stick his head in there but he does have room to throw his head side to side and shoveling the feed out. I made it larger so a few birds at a time can eat together. I'll keep my eye on it and fix if needed.
Sinbad our young rooster.
And thanks i'm glad you like it.
The nest boxes I think I made them to big they are 17"x 12" and they drop down 18" to the top of the opening from in side.
That's funny you asked that cause today when I put sibbad in the coop I was thinking an inner screen door would be nice.
Ya the tailgate thing soulds nice.
The way I planed on cleaning it was with a wheelbarrow just scoop and go to the mulch pile.

(The answer was farmtek.com.) Great ideas! I had looked at nipple watering systems and they were very pricey but I guess when you use a water tank you don't need an expensive pressure regulator. If this is true it seems those pressure regulators are completely ridiculous. Perhaps all you would need to hook up to the main line is a water tank that is big enough for a float valve (such as those used by a toilet or swamp cooler). Or does the tank need to be bigger/higher to get enough pressure?

When it comes to preditors we have them all.
I made this coop so tight it will keep people out without power tools.
Now I'm only talking about the coop itself I still haven't installed a proper sized run for out side I want to free range my birds when I'm at home and my dog Sammy will take care of any unwanted visitors durring the day.
Thanks for the concern
