my almost first chicken loss

    one of my buff orpingtons had gotten out of the run. not sure yet how that happened. i heard her screaming from inside the house. i run out & my german shepherd pup has her cornered.
    no blood drawn, moves ok, so i think she just got the poopy scared out of her. everybody was ready to go back in the coop & take a nap after that ordeal.

    oh poor chooky you have got to watch out with dogs and chooks

    our wee jack russell started of with that just chasing hens and it then turned in to him killing them we lost about 5 from him[​IMG]

    so after that we built the run higher to prevent hens getting out
