They are the SWEETEST and most loving birds I have ever had. Wheaten pullet and blue wheaten cockeral. They are mated - they never go anywhere without each other and they roost seperately at night too.

They are beautiful!!! Such sweet birds. I was in the duck pen when I took that pic, because they heard my voice and came a runnin.... They are VERY docile. I can't wait to see their babies!!!

So pretty!!! I have a broody who is ambitiously awaiting for them to mature.

(She really really wants to be a mommy!!)
So...since I know NOTHING about genetics in chickens...if a wheaten hen breeds with a blue wheaten roo, will some of the chicks be blue wheaten, or is the regular wheaten dominant?
