My Article Mentions BYC

I write a homemaking article for a local, free, quarterly and wrote my Winter edition article on "Are Backyard Chickens for You?" and mentioned BYC as a source of information at the end.

I'm very glad that the editor chose to emphasize this point -- hopefully alerting prospective chicken-keepers in my county to avoid those tiny prefabs that give chicken newbies so much heartbreak.

I'd been mentally thinking of those tiny prefabs as "dollhouse coops" for a while and the phrase crystallized while I was writing the article.
