my aruacana whats wrong??? UPDATE*pics!!!*

Oh, sweetie, I'm so sorry about Bandit. If you can, you might try to bring her in and put her into a clean dog kennel with clean bedding where she could get a lot of rest and not have to compete at all to get to the food and water. I am certainly no expert, but from all the posts I've read, the first line of defense is to separate and make your chicken very comfy. Bless her heart. I'm praying that getting back on feed will help her perk back up. Good luck.

altho I buy my feed from a feed store..I've heard that Walmart sells chicken feed cheaper..
some feed stores sell 25 pound bags of feed..

you'll need layer feed, and the hens also need crushed oyster shell..for calcium..in a separate feeder..
if you have any TUMS in the house..crush one up in her feed.

in the meantime..if you can..make up this mixture:

“” This amount feeds one bird””

Feed the birds three times a day for three days a mixture of
This mixture is what you will need for the entire three feeds…. It is not 3 egg yolks and 3 teaspoons of honey etc…. divide the contents into three

½ to 1 egg yolk….(hard boiled)
1 teaspoon honey….
2 tablespoons plain yogurt….
3 to 4 tablespoons rolled oats…(regular oatmeal)
don't make it "doughy"..

you can also give her a teaspoon of canned cat beef cat food, or dry kitten food ..for extra protein..or cooked eggs...(scrambled or hard boiled)
if you can get her some poultry vitamins, that would be great..
or you can get Poly-vi-sol liquid baby vitamins (Enfamil brand..no iron)..3 drops a day in beak for a week..then taper off.

hope your little hen gets better, and you'll be able to get some chicken feed soon...
don't get scratch..try and get some layer pellets or crumble.

when things get better for you and you have some extra money.. try and get them a wormer..Wazine 17 will do..

good luck.

we have oyster shell, i'll try some of the things you suggested i'm kind of afraid of giving her tums though, she won't blow up lik with alkeselszer right?

no...TUMS doesn't work like Alka Seltzer..
TUMS has calcium in it..
just crush it up..

check her vent for drainage..

has she ever laid an soft shelled egg?

it's possible she has worms.

heres her latest poo:

Couldn't see any worms, but cleaned immediately

the color of the watery portion might indicate liver problems .... (or it might be the the watered down portion/remnants of eggyolk from a softshelled egg which burst inside)
Illness or bad diet will surely affect her laying ability as most illness/dietary problems do ...
Give the crushed up TUM to correct any calcium deficiency (just one for now) ... calcium uptake is dependent not only on the amount of calcium ingested but also on the ratio between calcium/phosphorus and vit D (which is why the POLYVISOL was advised...it will provide A-B-D vitamins) ....
get your bird the age appropriate feed mixture (a layer pellet, crumble or mash) or you will continue to have problems
