I am new to chickens and need the voice of experience here! My 8 chicks that I got at TSC as one-day-old's are now 12 weeks today. I have 4 Australorps and 4 Red Sex-link pullets. The 'Lorps were straight-run. I am having a little trouble figuring out if I have a roo or not...one of them is getting much redder in the face and has more pronounced wattles than the others (the Lorps, that is) but then I look at my Red girls and they have even more going on in that department, with bigger redder combs and wattles all the way around, so I dunno...
Anyway, I've got a few pics from this morning. Do any of these look Roo-ish to you? Or do I just have a pullet that is a little more mature than her buddies?
and just for comparison sake, here's one of my Red Sex-Link girls, showing considerably more stuff on her face...they are all the exact same age.
