Can you sex d'uccles when you get them as chicks? He's been the sweetest one. The silkies have there moments lol

My d'uccles are pretty loud, but that's because there are five of them... I've found that d'uccles (and small bantams in general) seem to be more vocal. You should check with your city to see if having roosters is legal.

I can't. But the cockerels begin to get red combs very early. I think mine started around 4 weeks.
