My babies are flying already!

I hand my arm in the brooder handfeeding my babies and one flew up onto my forearm and climbed up it! They're not even 2 weeks old yet. I thought they attempt flight later. Guess who bought a screen cover over their house?!

That's how my Delaware, Angel, got her name. I put my arm in the brooder and she flew up to it. She's still a lap chicken.

Yes they do fly! They can get past the screening too if it is just sitting loose on top so make sure you lock it down.
