fast... and it's their first day out of the brooder!

My poor babies stayed on the roost until I picked them up and sit them on the floor. They have not decided if they want to venture outdoors as of yet. Green grass awaits them! Maybe they will be more brave another day.

Thank you. They are French Black Copper Marans. I have one more Marans pullet but she is still too young to join these three.

Thank you. Well, this morning they all three finally ventured outdoors! It was a sight to behold. They would run around picking grass until the slightest noise would have them running back into the barn. This breed or mine anyway seem more afraid of things than all my others have. It's been a few hours later and now everything seems ok with them. They seem happy so I'm happy!
