my order from Ideal was posted yesterday...i went down to the post office this afternoon hoping maybe they would be here after only one day but no chicks
Hopefully they will be here tomorrow...how long did yours take to arrive?

2 days in a little box seems a long time for the lil guys. Did you get a WHOLE BUNCH of extra males that you didnt order?

I ordered 25 chicks so they wouldn't add any extra males. I did order one male and they colored his face green so I would know which one he was. He looks so funny!

I'm very happy so many survived the trip from Texas to North Carolina. I think the one that died may have had health problems that couldn't be helped because it appeared to have died a couple of days ago.

ok so tomorrow is the big day for us here in the house awaiting the chickens..my son has been on the driveway with his chalk crayons drawing a flock of chickens!!!!!!!!!!

we are just a little excited!
