Man they grow fast, mine are already starting to grow wing feathers,, its amazing, I love chickies

I have two Anconas in this brood hatched Oct 1 - they are feathering faster than any chicks I've ever had before. They already have *tail* feathers popping out, and their primaries are a good inch and a quarter long.

I have 6 week old chicks and 6 month old golden comets. I don't miss having chicks yet! Other than looking at how cute they are! I went to Meyer Hatchery and picked up the 6 week old chicks when they were just hours old. Can't wait to go back there. I want to take a tour. And they have every thing from a-z for chickens!

Oh you are so lucky to be able to just drive & go visit the hatchery and buy chicks whenever you want..It would be soooo fun to have a tour of the place!!!

this is a chick i bought it's supposed to be a RIR X Buff oprington but I'm not sure can you help me?he/she is 12 weeks old
below:also a pic of him with a blue australorp and another one that was supposed to be a australorp but looks like some sort of cross between an australorp and something else.
