My Babies are here!!!!!

I am so happy!!!!!!! I ordered 3 BR pullets from MPC and they came today!! All are happy, healthy, cheeping and no pasty tush. Immediately started with the water and quickly discovered the food. They are under a heat lamp in the bathroom (not too hot, not too cold) and were peeping away when I left to be torn away from them to come back from work! I am THRILLED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will post pics tonight when I've had a chance to whip out the good camera. Happy Happy Joy JOY!!

Congrats! I ordered form MPC. I had a great experiendpce with them, except for our one loss. I can't wait for pics! Gotta love BRs. Are these your first birds?

Congratulation on your new addition

I am waiting for mine today as well from MPC... I can't wait. I keep tracking USPS like a wreck. They left yesterday, so I though they would have arrived by Wednesday, thursday max, but and on their website it says "guaranteed by June 12th at 3pm", so now I am even more siked! Enjoy!!!!

Sorta.. we adopted a 7 week old pullet from a local gentleman over the weekend - so technically, Livvy is our first.. but these are my very first chicks EVER and I am oh-so excited!! I keep looking at my video of them I took at lunch and oh.. they are just the cutest babies ever. I think I want to move them to a slightly larger brooder box though - just give them a touch more room. Will enlist DH tonight for his help and advice.
