We've had babies since 6 weeks old and after the initial quarantine (they came from the same breeder as my older girls) they've been in a temp coop next to my big girls. This week we started letting them free range together but sleep apart and yesterday they went into the big coop together. No problems. Tonight they're all cuddling and roosting together. There's been a few pecks and chasing and whatnot but nothing too major. I'm relieved.

I Know, Right??!!
We so often only hear of the disasters and problems.

@PTA Chicks ...Congrats!
How old are all these birds now?
How long were the youngers in the temp coop?

Big girls 18 weeks and babies are 10ish weeks. They were apart for 2 weeks then we moved the temp coop alongside for 2 weeks and the 2nd week they were let out together for supervised play. Friday they were allowed together in the big coop and Friday night they slept in the same coop but apart. Saturday night the babies were cuddled up next to the big girls. My babies are feisty. Stealing food from the big girls and occasionally getting into trouble with them but it's not mean or constant so I'm leaving them to do their thing.
