My baby died this morning =(

I had five chickens. Now I have four. My very favorite 16 week old hen was deead this morning when I went to check on her this morning. I thought she was just asleep but she didn't move when I said"bett lou?" just laid there. She was my faorite chicken and always will be even though she's past away. I loved her very dearly and I cry as I write this.

I'm so sorry, honey. It happens to all of us, sooner or later, but I feel like it's sadder to not have them at all than to have them and just risk losing our birds from time to time. Hugs to you.

I am so sorry for your loss... It hurts, but she's looking down on you with mealworms in her beak smiling at you for the great little life that you gave her. Even though it was short I am sure it was great for both of you.
