so yesterday morning I had gone to check on my female white americano and had seen she was not moving around and was just sitting there she was still alive and breathing but she wouldn't move her legs she was in the front right corner of her coop and when I picked her up to check if she had any cuts she was unharmed so I put her down to try and get her to drink or eat and she was 100% uninterested in water or food i ran to get my phone to call my dad to ask what to do and i came back out before making the call and she no longer had her head up and her red comb was now dark purple and she couldn't/wouldn't keep her head up after a few minutes she stretched her left wing and started bobbing around her head for 3 minutes before stopping and dying in my arms and i am just wondering what the possibility of what happened to her as she had nothing in her mouth and she was only 7 months old

If you still have the body and can keep in in the refrigerator you can send it to your state poultry lab for a necropsy.

I’m so sorry. The sudden purple comb sounds like something circulatory. Possibly heart attack or failure. I’m so sorry.
