My baby duck needs help!!

I have a baby duck he's 3 months old. Not sure if the 4 month old duck hurt him or if it's a deficiency. He went lame and wasn't walking anymore. He was crying along and then just payed down and never got back up. For about 3 weeks now I have been giving him B12, Nician, meal worms and electrolytes in his water. He is making progress slowly. Now is standing for 5 seconds then goes down. I noticed he like to back into a corner, it helps him to stand. I noticed in the last week he is walking backwards. Does anyone know why this is? I thought maybe he's having a hard time to balance? Any suggestions as to what that means that he's walking backwards and anything else I can do to help him would be much appreciated!! Thank you

I meant to say cruising along then just payed down.

It sounds like a neurological issue. Does he eat, drink, and poop normally? Does he hold his head and neck normally?

He eats great no issues with that. He drinks fine and his poop is normal. His neck moves like the other ducks. I did notice a few weeks ago sometimes he had it laying down like a dog would on the floor but not often.
