My baby is driving my nuts advice please!!

Ok my nine month DD is grinding her teeth!! It makes the worst sound ever and its bad for her. I've tried a million things and she just wont stop. How can i stop this?!

Have you talked to the pediatrician? My oldest used to do it at night. She eventually was diagnosed with TMJ.

Yes I agree - call her Pediatrician. What I suggested before would be a choking hazard I think.

I would recommend trying Natural calms Baby Calm formula. It is a magnesium supplement especially for babies. Magnesium is a natural muscle relaxer among other things. If I don't take magnesium I grind my teeth really bad.

my daughter did that that when she was getting her teeth in as a baby, now she is 6 and hasn't done it in forever. In fact I forgot about her grinding her teeth until i read this thread just now. I think she stopped when she started getting in more molars. It used to worry me as well, I used to feed whenever she started doing that lol

I think all mine did that, especially when they got new teeth. It's just a thing they do because of the new thing in their mouth. When they get their first teeth (two on bottom in front) they have to 'grind' them to cut the gum on the top to 'help' the top teeth come in. You can ask your pediatrician, but unless she continues to do it well after her teeth are in, I wouldn't worry about it.

Shes seems to have stop at lest for now. She's drooling really bad so i think we have another tooth coming in. Heres another question though. I use to get emailswhen someone replyed to my threads but now i dnt.
