thanks.. Their nest was about to wash away in the floods we had and a guy at work brought them to me to try to save. I had to help all of them from the shells. the mom swan had them till the last week and then the transition to the incubator did not go so smooth. The membrane was shrink wrapping them so I just went in and got them all out. Thankfully they are all fine. I did have to put a stitch in one of the umbilicus tho but it is doing fine too. I just wish I knew how to tell boys from girls. i have to give them back to the owner but he said I could have one if I wanted. I fell in love with the one I stitched but I sure would like a girl. One has yellow feet and the other four have black feet....

they are now three days old and they are drinking about a quart of water every two hours... amazing. no wonder they are pooing EVERYWHERE... all the time...lol

They are gorgeous. I am totaly rethinking the ugly duckling story now. Are all fairy tails lies? Wow, my entire childhood wasted reading. What a shame. (JK)
