So I have a little bantam easter egger here, and she is basically the smallest one(even smaller than her bantam sister)... She isn't drinking or eating as much, and she is five days old. It looks like she has a problem standing because she is always flat on her legs like that... Is there anything I can do? Please help!!

I have her on a heating pad right now... Should I put her back in the brooder? In her brooder there is an EcoGlow, and three other healthy chicks. She is definitely at the bottom of the pecking order, and we suspect she was smushed under the wait of her four sisters for about two days. She chirps just fine, but she can't walk as easily as her other sisters, and keeps falling forward. She sometimes drinks when I put her next to the water, and tries to eat. All of my chicks were vaccinated for Marek's disease, and are on medicated Coccidiosis feed. One of my other chicks passed away this morning, and I'm feeling so frustrated that I can't doing anything to help them. Will someone help me out? She is also my profile pic..

Get some electrolytes in her fast.

Probiotic & Electrolyte in the water and have you used Save-A-Chick ????

Make up some hard boiled egg's remove shell mash and serve now do not
get to upset if they do not finish it all it works like that just give the rest to
another animal and do not refrigerate to serve again just get a new egg 1
in the morning and another in the evening and after several days you wont
believe how they go after the egg's also health will improve greatly ...

What are you feeding them now ???

What have you put in the water ????

What is the brooder conditions like ????

What is the temp in the brooder ????

How many chicks in the brooder ????

But my chick is literally not responsive. If I put her in front of food, she won't move. She is just lying there, breathing. This morning another of my chicks displayed these symptoms, and died:(. I am feeding them chick starter medicated against coccidiosis, I haven't put anything in there water. I have them under an ecoglow, which gives off a decent amount of heat, and there are currently four chicks inside the brooder. I have pine shavings as the bedding, and one feeder and one waterer. I tried dipping her beak in water, but she won't drink. I scattered food around her, but she won't eat. She just huddles there, breathing. Her head is droopy, and she can't stand.

Well then I have an idea what you are going to be doing today ...

You have a children's eyedropper as you are going to be putting little drops of water on it's beak every 10 to 20 minutes ...

make sure you get a hard boiled egg into the other chicks so you do not loose them , the egg is for niacin and vitamin B-3 and you want your chicks to have this ....

So sorry about the one you lost ....

brooder sounds fine ...

I'm delvestated to say that she just died. I was about to give her the second round of electrolytes, but found her stiff. Thank you for your response- we did all we could do for her, and that's a comfort that I have.
