If you use glass thermometer you can calibrate it with the ice water test to make sure of accuracy.fill glass with ice. And little water leave 10 minutes then put your glass thermometer in for 15 min not touching the glass sides or bottom. Should read 32.If it doesn't ....add or subtract that many degrees it's off when you use it.

(Day 7, round 2) Candled all of the eggs today. Three clearly have embryos in them, veins and all, but one of those may have a blood ring. There was what appeared to be an embryo in the middle, so it could be a weird shaped vein! I'll leave it in until day 14 or until it smells bad. I'm not sure about the rest, we'll see!

Now that I know that some are developing, my eyes have been completely glued to my thermometer. In no way do I want to mess these up!

It's going to be a long next 2 weeks for you lol if it does end up spiking or dropping for a short period of time don't freak out too much because mine spiked up to 108/110 for probably about an hour or so a couple of times and it didn't seem to effect them because I got 5 healthy chicks!

Oh good mine hasn't gone over 103 this time so far haha I've been so careful to keep it from spiking
I hope it goes by kinda fast, I can't wait for those little guys to get here!
