When I got this guy I was told he was a silkie. Now he’s grown into a beautiful boy but I’m not sure he’s a silkie. I have not raised any silkies before now. I’ve attached a picture of his foot as well and am hoping someone can identify his breed for me.

That extra toe is a silkie trait, but it's also a trait of Dorkings, Houdans (both are clean legged), Sultans, and Faverolles (both feather footed). Silkies are also supposed to have black skin, walnut combs, and silkied feathers.

Satin feathered silkies are a usually from a silkie crossed with something else. The silkied feathers are recessive, so require BOTH parents to have it. A satin silkie can throw fully silkie feathered babies if both parents contribute the silkied feathers.

A walnut comb is RRPP (rose and pea), or RrPP, or RRPp, or RrPp. A straight comb is only ever rrpp. Being as your boy has a straight comb, and it's 100% red, not the mulberry of partial black skin, if he's got silkie in him, at most it's only going to be about 25% unless he managed to get the not black skin, not rose/pea comb, and not silkied feathers but 5 toes from both parents

He is a handsome lad. The coloring on him is gorgeous and could come from several breeds, French Black Copper Marans being one of the best known. The 5 toes has to be from one of those breeds mentioned earlier, so he could be a FBCM x with some silkie.
