My Belgian D’uccle!

I just wanted to share how well my Belgian D’uccle is maturing! The first picture is right after showing her this last fall, where she was 4 months old. The rest of the picture are of her now, nearly 10 months old! She won first last year, and I’m hoping she will do the same this fall!

Silly question perhaps, but are chicken competitions mostly for fun or for breeding value? Not that it can't be both, I've just never seen a chicken show before

I show for fun, but most people who show advertise their stock to sell, since it costs more to show then you win usually haha. People come to shows to buy the best stock from award winning birds usually. I don’t breed however, I just enter because I bought from a show line and thought it’d be fun
