My Big girl got attacked...15 hours ago....she still can't stand up

OK...it has been 3 weeks now since Alice has had her traumatic event. She is doing well. Eating and drinking now. I feel good about her going outside during the day but she still sleeps inside her crate in the house.
This is my problem now... she seems to be losing a great deal of feathers. She is not plucking them out so I am not sure what is happening. Do you think it is from the stress? Her wound is starting to get new feathers.
Also...I am worried about her new habits. I have taken a picture of her today. This is from my kitchen. Alice stands in front of the door that I bring her in and out of. She no longer is scratching in the grass, dirt bathing or looking for bugs. She just stands there in front of the door.
I don't know if she likes coming in the house. She just seems depressed.
Any thoughts?

I'm no chicken psychologist but I would say that she simply feels safer in the house right now. I had an Astrolorp roo that was injured and spent time in the house to recoup. It took time and many nights of having to carry him to the coop because he was roosted by the back door. He never did remember he was a chicken before he was killed by a predator.
I would say either force her to be a chicken or have a house chicken!!!

Give her time to heal she may come around in time!!!

Aww....I think Alice wants to be a house chicken! I agree. You'll need to make an effort to be part of the flock again. I'd put her on the roost in the evening. As far as loosing feathers....could she be molting? I have two in hard molt right now.

I think she wants in the house too, a place warm comfy, treats, and quiet. As for her feather loss she may be molting, my girls are molting and not a year old yet. I have porcupine heads that look like your wanna be house hen. They crack me up from the way they are currently looking, spikey pin feathers on head and down neck.
