oh pickles, you have got to get him a tire swing. If you really can't swing one (pardon the pun) cuz of no trees, get him a tetherball set. They come with the pole you stick in the ground; cost about $10 at wally world. Show em how the ball swings around the pole one time, then let hiim at it. Bet that would be fun to watch.
Oh! and just once, you gotta try this: If you ever get some cotton candy, give the billy a small amount to try. It's fun to watch them try to figure out where it went after it melts in their mouth!
I'm evil. I know.

are tetherballs really only ten dollars a wmart? that is something i could, pardon the pun, swing.

i would love that! i played tether ball as a kid. how fun.

i just went hardware shopping for tools, then motrgage is due, but after that when i can, that billy goats getting a tetherball. lol

hee.

i saw a metal sign for sale that said "beware of crazy goat lady." maybe it is time for me to purchase that.

i would probably need to get some concrete to cement the pole in with as he is a strong........gentleman. but i'm sure that will not to be too bad and might even be able to get some from a neigbhor. yeah.

i was just reading some of the reviews of the tether balls. i thihk i wold be beter off buying the ball and hooking it to a tall post that's just in one piece. all my goats, even the girls, are tough cookies and i don't expect they would keep a pole in several pices upright for mroe than about five seconds.

i actually do have an old pole in hte yard, more swingset pieces?, so maybe that will do fine.

About the chewing on boards...they make horse products to keep them from chewing on wood. They taste bad and the horses won't bother them. Maybve this would work for Sir Billy Goat. Sounds like you're having an animal adventure.
