yes- they delivered me a box of yolk, shells and 8 eggs out of 18...had weird air cells, no air cells, and dried pieces of shell on the eggs, yolk smears- I am down to five. Most of these were too dark shelled for me to see into when candling. My incubator temps kept going all over the place, down to 97 up to 103...and the one day my temp gauge read 107! After that scare, I was able to see one black giant dancing in the egg...and now its pipped early.

Right now it is being very sneaky, though...I havent heard a peep, havent seen any movement...there is a pip and then a crack...but I have seen NOTHING, but I am practically living over top the incubator in a trance-so I don't know when it is doing it.

I am about to go to the mall- hopefully I will have a happy chick when I return (however it took my serama nine hours from pip to hatched, so I wont hold my breath).

We have a baby! I came home from the mall to a crybaby in the incubator- two days early!! WOW- is it ever loud! Its talking to the chicks in the brooder, I guess. No movement from the other eggs- don't know if there will be or not...
