My blue andalusian is pecking my brahma- adult beak trimming?

The mean chicken keeps kicking off the painless peeper. Any other suggestions? The poor Brahma hasn’t been laying eggs but she is eating and drinking. She has energy and doesn’t look too distressed. But her butt is red and featherless. Along with parts of her neck. I’ve tried the pinless peeper, no more pecking lotion... I don’t know to do.

What about separating her at night?

Are you sure the one chicken is actually doing it? And you say you've tried feather fixer right?
Have you tried protein in other ways, like boiled eggs even cooked meat?
Give that a go, my rooster won't even eat feather fixer so i'm not surprised that didn't work.:)

Would giving them a higher protein diet stop her from doing it? I thought it was a bored thing?

The beak has a lot of nerve endings and functions as a sensory organ for the chicken, so I would not recommend clipping it. It's not like clipping a nail.

Have you tried blue spray on the offender's backside? It'll mask the skin color so the area will be less interesting to peck at.
