Well, I'm guessing my Bronze hens are about 9 months old and no eggs yet. I did see the tom mate with one of the females. Not sure if that's the only time. My tom will be 2. My chicken hens are all starting to lay so I am hoping the turkeys will be next. I have no idea where they will decide to nest since I don't have them in a coop or pen. They don't the pens at all. I do have a dog/chicken/duck house....... what ever you want to call it out for the turkeys if they decide to nest in there. They can fit. I was thinking about putting branches around the front to make it more "woodsy" and make it look like they are hiding. It's just a thought.
