I have those same american bulldog rules at my house! The preg one inside lives by them!

White boxers are very pretty - but there is alot of risk with them - they can be born deaf in one or both ears -- they get sunburned in the summer - when Gypsy is outside to long the area around her nose and eyes gets really pink, so during warm weather she will be able to go out in the morning for some play with the others - and for a few minutes during the afternoon and than later in the afternoon when it gets cooler - so we have to be careful with her.

but so far we have been lucky with her since she was born on Thanksgiving she has not had her first summer yet.

good luck with picking out a new boxer puppy - it is hard to pick just one when you see a whole litter of them LOL

It is sad that there are so many risk with them they are so pretty. When we first were getting a boxer I wanted a white one with or without problems. I learned a lot about the breed when we were looking for our first pup and then Shyla came up and we couldn't let her go. She was such a runt and we just fell in love!

We will actually be breeding Tank for the first and only time and will be taking the pick of the litter. So only have one option. LOL Good thing!

Oh please! It's not only the white ones that are deaf. ALL boxers are deaf when they want to be. Mine come when called only if they aren't "busy".

the first couple of days we had Gypsy here - I thought for sure she was deaf - we tried everything to get her attention - DH even would go behind her and clap really loud - so I was pretty upset.
but than we realized that she has perfect hearing - but was ignoring us LOL

all my dogs are deaf - until the food dish comes out !!

even though the white boxers might have issues - I am so glad we have her.

I would like to breed her to my male once.
